Product direction

Own your AI. Grow it together.

NeuroShard’s long-term goal is a useful shared assistant whose learning and serving capacity can expand through contributed machines, coordinated by its own permissionless blockchain.

The proposed first commercial product is an expandable AI installation on hardware a team controls, with an optional path to contribute resources to the public network. This is a development direction built on the research platform, not a currently shipped appliance.

For people

Run the published software, inspect the rules, reproduce the evidence, and contribute supported work when the chosen network is accepting it. Accepted training can earn native NEURO under that network’s rules. Trial balances have no demonstrated market value or promised migration to another chain.

Use start here to distinguish the research alpha from the older 0.4.0 baseline.

For teams

The intended local product would let teams:

  • Run AI within infrastructure and peer groups they approve.
  • Combine compatible machines to hold model shards, add serving capacity, and provide redundancy.
  • Develop specialized capabilities from approved material and evaluate new performance and retention before promotion.
  • Optionally allocate spare compute to approved public work.

Private workload controls and the connection between private installations and public contribution are still to be implemented and validated. The current public alpha publishes prompts and responses. It should not receive confidential business material.

For hardware and infrastructure builders

Build compatible hardware, deployment tools, monitoring, and services around the open protocol. Our commercial direction includes supported installations, hardware integration, fleet management, and managed compute services.

The immediate collaboration is a scoped technical deployment: an agreed workload, supported hardware, reproducible setup, and measurements of quality, capacity, recovery, and total cost. Improved performance is an evaluation target, not an assumed consequence of connecting another machine.

The core code remains Apache 2.0. Participation is not intended to require buying NeuroShard-branded hardware. Model and dataset licenses remain separate from the software license.
